THE MEASURE OF MAN

A guerilla performance

Re-evaluating the supremacy of God - reminding us of the supremacy of nature.

Xmas-Eve, New York.

2010

Times of mass celebration and spirituality should NOT be a time when we forget and ignore our responsibly to the planet and to sustaining life on it.

Santa Claus is not God; nature created all life.

We are quick to blame government and corporations for environmental disasters, but then we jump into shop-till-you-drop-mode in the name of God.

We should stop celebrating like there was no tomorrow and begin to celebrate like there will be.

Earth is heaven: to believe it is anywhere else is a copout.

Leonardo Davinci’s anatomical drawing THE VITRUVIAN MAN heralded the age where the perfection of man was central to all things and encouraged progress and excellence in the individual and in society.  The assertion of the centrality of the human soul in the order of creation is an idea Theresa challenges.

Nature created our ability and inspired our hearts to imagine God.
