In my recent series of paintings beings fabric is the object utilized to shape the subject. In this performative work my body is the object. Premixed colored ink and water are poured though the canopy, dripping on me, outlining my shape. Water evaporates, pigment stains, and chromatography results.

I sleep in my painting, my stillness creating it.

Water, fabric and maternal love are present at the beginning of all human life. These three elements are our first experiences of life.
